Today, students will determine whether or not a figure has rotational symmetry. Students will work individually to complete workbook page 37, study guide and practice side. After completion, students will be given the correct answers by the teacher.

Enriched Math Lesson Plans for October 1st- 5th
Monday: 5-2 Classifying Triangles (7.3.spi.2)
Today, students will classify triangles by their angles and sides. Students will review information by using teaching tool- Brain Pop. Students will complete questions from brain pop quiz. Students will be asked to complete section 5-2; numbers 4-22 all in textbook.
Homework: complete practice problems for homework
Tuesday: Think Link
Today, students will take think link in the computer lab. After think link, students will begin the notes on section 5-3 Classifying Quadrilaterals.

Today, students will classify quadrilaterals by using their properties. Students will draw and label diagram from the overhead. Students will use the definition of various shapes to determine whether or not the shapes are considered a parallelogram, trapezoid, rectangle, rhombus, or square. Students will complete workbook page 36 Practice Side.
