Monday: Proportions Review/ Foldable- Changing Customary Units (7.4.spi.3)
Today, students will learn to change units in the customary system by using proportions. Students will review how to solve proportions. Students will make a foldable of the customary system. Students will take notes on how to solve various problems.
Homework: Study foldable.
Tuesday: 6-7 Changing Customary Units (7.4.spi.3)
Today, students will continue to change units in the customary system. Students will use their foldable to complete Practice Skills Lesson 6-7.
Homework: page 268 numbers 3-19 all.
Wednesday: Perimeter Area Volume- What’s the Difference? (7.4.spi.4)
Today, students will determine how to calculate the perimeter, area, and volume of various figures. Students will also determine the difference between the three. Students will take notes and answer questions from the overhead.
Homework:
Thursday: 6-8 Perimeter and Area (7.4.spi.4)
Today, students will practice calculating the perimeter and area of various figures. Students will complete textbook page272 numbers 3-25 all.
Homework: page 579; lesson 6-8 numbers 2-12 even.
Friday: 6-9 Circles and Circumference (7.4.spi.6)
Today, students will learn to find the circumference of circles. Students will work in groups to complete Practice Skills worksheet Lesson 6-9.
Homework: None; have a great weekend!
