Enriched Math Lesson Plans for December 3rd- 7th

Monday: Complete chapter 2 Test; 6-7 Changing Customary Units (Foldable)
Today, students will learn to change units in the customary system by using proportions. Students will make a foldable for this section. Students need to memorize the various customary units of length, weight, and capacity.

Tuesday: 6-7 Changing customary units
Today, students will continue to change units in the customary system by using proportions. Students will work individually to complete Practice Skills lesson 6-7 and Enrichment masters Lesson 6-7.
Homework: 7th grade textbook page 269 numbers 11-25 all.

Wednesday: 6-8 Perimeter and Area
Today, students will find the perimeter, area, and volume of figures. Students will also tell the difference between perimeter, area, and volume. Students will work in groups to create and solve various problems.

Thursday: 6-8 Perimeter and Area
Today, students will continue to find the perimeter, area, and volume of various figures. Students will work in groups to complete enrichment masters worksheet in class.

Friday: ACT Practice
Today, students will work on enrichment and test taking skills designed to help students’ scores on the ACT.
