Monday: 2-2 Making Predictions/ 2-5 Stem- and – Leaf Plot  (7.5.spi.5 and 7)
Today, students will learn to make predictions based on given information.  Students will also learn to construct and interpret stem- and leaf plots.  Students will take notes and complete in- class examples on making predictions. Students will also take notes on how to construct and interpret a stem- and – leaf plot. Students will complete packet section 2-5.
Homework: page 78 numbers 11-13 all.

Tuesday:  2-5 ( Complete)/ Begin Box- and Whisker Plot (7.5.spi.7)
Today, students will learn to create and interpret a box- and whisker plot.  Students will define: box – and- whisker plot, upper and lower extreme, quartile, and interquartile range.  Students will work individually to complete packet section 2-5 Practice side.
Homework:  Study for Quiz on tomorrow

Wednesday:  Quiz 2-1 through 2-4/ 2-6 Box- and Whisker Plot (7.5.spi.7)
Today, students will take a quiz over sections 2-1 through 2-4.  After the quiz, students will complete packet section 2-6 on box- and -whisker plots.
Homework:  page 568; numbers 3 and 4

Thursday:  2-7 Bar Graphs and Histograms (7.5.spi.1)
Today, students will learn to construct and interpret bar graphs and histograms.  Students will work individually to complete packet section 2-7 Practice Skills.
Homework: Begin studying for test on Wednesday

Friday:  2-8 Misleading Statistics (7.5.spi.7)
Today, students will learn to determine when statistics are misleading.  Students will look at various articles from newspapers to determine whether or not the ad’s are misrepresented.  Students will complete packet section 2-8.
Homework: Study for Chapter test on Wednesday!
