Math and Enriched Math Lesson Plans for October 29th- November 2nd
Monday: 2-4 Mean, Median, and Mode (7.5.spi.3 and 4)
Today, students will find the mean, median, and mode for a set of data. Students will take notes from the overhead. Students will also work to complete Practice Skills worksheet and word problems.
Homework: Study Notes
Tuesday: 2-4 Mean, Median, and Mode (7.5.spi.3 and 4)/ Enriched Math Test chapter 5
Today, students will continue to work to find the mean, median, and mode in a set of data. Students will complete Practice Skills and work problems from the packet.
Homework: Study vocabulary words
Wednesday: Review Assignment
Today, students will review contents of unit one which covers chapters 1 and 2. After the review, students will be asked to turn in the assignment.
Homework: None
Thursday: 2-2 Making Predictions (7.5.spi.5)
Today, students will learn to make predictions based on data that is represented in a graph. Students will complete section 2-2 Practice Skills in the packet. Students will turn in the assignment after completion.
Homework: Study for quiz tomorrow
Friday: Quiz Lessons 2-1 through 2-4/ Box- and –Whisker Plot (7.5.spi.7)
Today, students will take a quiz over lessons 2-1 through 2-4. After the quiz, students will begin notes on the components of a box- and whisker- plot.
