Monday: 4-2 Solving Addition and Subtraction Equations (7.2.spi.7)
Today, students will solve addition and subtraction equations. Students will work independently to complete worksheet 4-2 Practice. Students will also be given a pop quiz over this section.
Homework: Study Notes
Tuesday: Review 4-2/ Begin 4-3 Solving Multiplication Equations (7.2.spi.7)
Today, students will solve multiplication and division equations. Students will work individually to complete Lesson 4-3 teacher- made practice worksheet. After completion, students will be given the correct answers. Homework: page 162 numbers 4-42 even.
Wednesday: 4-3 Solving Multiplication Equations (7.2.spi.7.)
Today, students will continue to solve multiplication and division equations. Students will complete teacher- made practice. Students will also create problems and exchange them with their group members.
Homework: None
Thursday: 4-4 Solving 2-step equations (7.2.spi.7)
Today, students will learn to solve 2- step equations. Students will take notes from the overhead. Students will relate equations to real world situations. Students will complete sheet given by the teacher.
Homework: Study notes
Friday: 4-4 Solving 2- step equations (7.2.spi.7)
Today, students will continue to learn to solve 2- step equations. Students will work in groups to create problems and present them on the overhead.
Homework: Have a great fall break!
