Monday:  Inequalities (7.2.spi.9)
Today, students will continue to write and solve inequalities.  Students will complete page 46 numbers 12-29 all. Students will also go over 2- step equations quiz answers before taking the test Wednesday.
Homework:  Study for chapter 1 test Wednesday.

Tuesday: Review for Chapter 1 test
Today, students will review for chapter 1 Test tomorrow.  Students will complete page 647 chapter 1 test review.  After completion, students will receive correct answers from the teacher.
Homework:  None

Wednesday: Chapter 1 Test
Today, students will take a test over chapter 1.  After the test, students will be asked to read a book silently.
Homework:  None

Thursday:  3-3 Solving Proportions (7.1.spi.12)
Today, students will learn to solve proportions.  Students will learn that knowing how to solve proportions can help when cooking.  Students will learn the meaning of what a proportion is and what a cross product is.  Students will be asked to complete enrichment masters 7-3 “What am I.”
Homework:  Textbook page 113; numbers 4-30 all.

Friday:  3-5 Finding Percents (7.1.spi.12)
Today, students will learn to compute mentally with percents.  Students will work in groups to find various percents mentally.  Students will also work individually to find percent by using a calculator.  Students will complete textbook page 122 numbers 10-20 even only.  Students will play a game on page 123 of textbook.
