Monday: 2- step Equations (7.2.spi.7)
Today, students will learn to solve 2- step equations. Students will work in groups to complete in class practice problems on the overhead.

Today, students will learn to solve 2 step equations. Students will work in groups to complete in class practice problems on the overhead.
Homework: Study Notes/ Curriculum Night
Wednesday: Order of Operations/ Scientific Notation (7.1.spi.7)
Today, students will evaluate expressions using order of operations. Students will complete 8th grade textbook page 14 numbers 14-39 all.

Thursday: Scientific Notation/ Properties ( 7.2.tpi.7)
Today, students will write numbers greater than 100 in scientific notation and standard form. Students will also use addition and multiplication properties to solve various problems. Students will work in groups to complete practice problems for scientific notation as well as problems to identify different properties.

Friday: Properties (Distributive, Associative, Commutative, and Identity), (7.2.tpi.7)
Today, students will use addition and multiplications properties to solve problems. Students will complete worksheet 1-6. Students will also write algebraic expressions and equations from verbal phrases and sentences. Students will complete pages 28-29 numbers 1-28 all.
