Enriched Math Lesson Plans for February 26th- March2nd
Monday: Diagnostic Test- TCAP Review
Today, students will take a diagnostic test over all 7th grade spi’s in an effort to review for TCAP. The test will be in TCAP format and will be taken from the TCAP Practice and Sample Test booklet. Students will work independently to complete this test. After the test, students will be asked to read a book silently.
Homework: None
Tuesday: Think Link
Today, students will take the February Think Link Test in the computer lab. This test is also designed to enhance student achievement on TCAP.
Homework: None
Wednesday: Diagnostic Test- TCAP Review
Today, students will complete the rest of the Diagnostic test from Monday. The test will be checked, and the students will be given a mastery score. After the students have received a score, we will go over sample questions and explain why certain answers were better answer choices.

Thursday: Mini Project
Today, students will work in groups to review various skills in geometry/ numbers and operations. Each group will be given a certain section, from a chapter on geometry or numbers and operations, to present to the class. Students will have to explain each skill and give examples to support their explanations.
Homework: None
Friday: Mini Project
Today, students will continue to make group presentations on the various sections that have been covered in geometry/ numbers and operations.
