Math Lesson Plans for February 5th- 9th
Monday: Assessment Book- Sample Test #3
Today, students will complete TCAP Assessment Sample Test #3. Students will review these skills in the format of TCAP. After completing the sample test, students will be asked to read a book silently.
Homework: None
Tuesday: 10-7 Polygons (7.3.spi.4)
Today, students will classify polygons. Students will take notes and complete in class practice problems from overhead. After completion on problems and discussion, students will complete workbook page 68 Practice Side. Students will work in groups to complete this assignment.

Wednesday: 10-7 Polygons (7.3.spi.4)
Today, students will continue to classify polygons. Students will review notes from yesterday and complete textbook page 448 numbers 2-13 all.

Thursday: Quiz Polygons/ 10-8 and 10-9 (7.3.spi.5)
Today, students will take a quiz over polygons. After the quiz, students will begin lessons 10-8 and 10-9 on translations and reflections. Students will graph translations of polygons on a coordinate plane; students will also graph reflections on a coordinate plane.
Homework: Study notes
Friday: Chapter 10 test review
Today, students will go through all sections of chapter 10 and create 2 questions. After creating 2 questions, students will pass the questions to a neighbor, where they will supply the answer. Students will grade their neighbor’s response and give feedback.
Homework: Study for chapter 10 test.
