Math Lesson Plans for January 22nd-26th

Monday: Assessment book/ Lesson 10-5 Quadrilaterals (7.3.spi.4)
Today, students will identify and classify quadrilaterals. Students will complete workbook page 70 study guide and practice side. After completion, students will discuss and correct each problem in their group.  Students will continue to work on TCAP test strategies using the TCAP Assessment booklet.

Tuesday: Mid Chapter Self Test/ Review
Today, students will take the mid chapter practice test on page 438 of textbook. After the assignment, students will review correct answers and prepare for the mid chapter quiz, which will be on tomorrow.
Homework: Study for Mid Chapter quiz on tomorrow.

Wednesday: Mid Chapter Quiz/10-6 Similar Figures (7.3.spi.3)
Today, students will take a mid chapter quiz over sections 10-1, 10-3, 10-4, and 10-5. After the Quiz, students will begin section 10-6. Students will determine whether figures are similar and find a missing length in a pair of similar figures. Students will complete textbook page 442 numbers 3-14.

Today, students will determine whether figures are similar and find the missing length in a pair of similar figures. Students will complete workbook page 69 study guide and practice side.
Homework: textbook page 588 Lesson 10-6 only.

Friday: 10-7 Polygons and Tessellations (7.3.spi.4)
Today, students will classify polygons and determine which polygons can form a tessellation. Students will work in groups to complete textbook page 448 numbers 4- 20 all. After completion, students will discuss each question in their groups and make corrections.
