Math Lesson Plans for January 16th- 19th
Monday: No School; Holiday
Homework: None
Tuesday: Review skills for TCAP
Today, students will complete and discuss problems from textbook pages 50 and 51 numbers 1-18. Students will learn how to eliminate answer choices and choose the best possible answer to problems.
Homework: page 49 numbers 1-14 all.
Wednesday: TCAP Assessment
Today, students will continue to review skills that will be tested on TCAP. Students will work from the state standardized test booklet. Students will complete objectives 5 and 6. After completion, students will work in groups to determine how to pick the best possible answer to various problems.
Homework: None
Thursday: 10-5 Quadrilaterals (7.3.spi.3)
Today, students will identify and classify quadrilaterals. Students will work individually to complete worksheet (Practice Skills 10-5). Students will classify quadrilaterals by definition.
Homework: None
Friday: 10-5 Quadrilaterals (7.3.spi.3)
Today, students will continue to identify and classify quadrilaterals. Students will complete textbook page 435, numbers, 4-32 all. Students will work in groups to discuss the best answer for each problem.
