Math Lesson Plans for January 2nd- 5th
Monday: 10-1 Angles (7.4.spi.4.)
Today, students will classify and draw angles. Students will discuss words: angle, degrees, vertex, acute angle, right angle, obtuse angle, and straight angle. Students will complete textbook pages 414- 415, numbers 1-23 all.
Homework: textbook page 414 and 415 numbers 3-18 all
Tuesday: 10-1 Angles (7.4.spi.4)
Today, students will continue to classify and draw angles. Students will complete textbook page 587, lesson 10-1.
Homework: Study Today’s Notes
Wednesday: 10-3 Angle Relationships (7.3.spi.3)
Today, students will identify and apply angle relationships. Students will discuss: vertical angles, congruent angles, supplementary angles, and complementary angles. Students will work in groups to complete page 424 numbers 1- 21 all.
Homework: Study Notes
Thursday: 10-3 Angle Relationships (7.3.spi.3.)
Today, students will continue to identify and apply angle relationships. Students will work in groups to complete worksheet 10-3. Students will discuss how this skill can be used in the real world.
Homework: textbook page 587 Lesson 10-3.
Friday: Review
Today, students will continue to identify an apply angle relationships. Students will review sills from lessons 10-1 through 10-3. Students will answer questions from overhead in class. Students will work in groups to complete this assignment.
