Enriched Math Lesson Plans for January 2nd- 5th
Monday: 10-1 Functions (7.2.spi.1,2,7,8,11)
Today, students will complete function tables. Students will discuss what a function is and how we can use them in everyday life. Students will define: function, function, table, domain, and range. Students will work in groups to complete textbook page 429 numbers, 1-18 all.
Homework: Study today’s notes
Tuesday: 10-2 Using Tables to Graph Functions (7.2.spi.1,2,7,8,11)
Today, students will learn to graph functions by using a function table. Students will work in groups to complete textbook page 435 numbers 6-11. Students will complete the function table and graph each function on graph paper.

Wednesday: 10-4 Graphing Linear Functions (7.2.spi,1,2,7,8,11)
Today, students will learn to graph linear functions by plotting points. Students will need graph paper for this assignment. Students will complete textbook page 442 mini- lab. Students will work in groups to complete this assignment. Students will also complete textbook page 444 numbers, 8-16 all.
Homework: Copy problems from page 634 Lesson 10-4.
Thursday: Test Functions
Today, students will take a test over functions. After the test, students will be asked to read a book silently.
Homework: None
Friday: ACP prep
Today, students will work in groups to complete worksheet on binomials. Students will complete this assignment in order to help prepare them for ACT test in February.
