Math Lesson Plans for December 4th- 8th

Monday: Review pop quiz from Friday/ Begin 4-5 Inequalities (7.2.spi.9)
Today, students will review contents of the pop quiz that was taken on Friday (the Distributive Property). After reviewing the quiz, students will begin lesson on inequalities. Students will solve and graph inequalities. Students will begin workbook page 46 Practice Side.
Homework: Textbook page 174 numbers 11-19 all.

Tuesday: 4-5 Inequalities (7.2.spi.9)
Today, students will continue to solve and graph inequalities. Students will complete workbook page 46 Practice Side from the previous day. The teacher will go over the correct answers in class.
Homework: Study Notes

Wednesday: 4-5 Inequalities (7.2.spi.9)
Today, students will complete worksheet on inequalities that will be turned in for a grade. Students will work in groups to continue to practice inequalities. Students will work to create and solve their own problems.
Homework: None/ Study for quiz over inequalities (Friday)

Thursday: 4-6 Functions and Linear Equations (7.2.spi.1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and11)
Today, students will graph linear equations. Students will work in groups to complete page 180 numbers 8-17 all. After completion, we will discuss the problems as a class.
Homework: page 180 numbers 18-23 all/ Study for Quiz over Inequalities

Friday: Quiz Inequalities/ 4-6 Functions and Linear Equations (7.2.spi.1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 11)
Today, students will take a quiz over inequalities. After the quiz, students will continue to practice graphing linear equations. Students will complete page 573 ( Lesson 4-6 0 numbers 1-5.
