Monday: 2- Step Equations using Decimals and Fractions (7.2.spi.5)
Today, students will continue to work on two- step equations. Students will learn to apply skills from converting fractions to decimals while solving equations. Students will complete worksheet in class.
Homework: Copy problems from the overhead.

Tuesday: 2- Step Equations using Decimals and Fractions (7.2.spi.5)
Today, students will continue to solve two- step equations with fractions and decimals. Students will work in groups to complete practice problems on overhead.
Homework: Study Notes

Wednesday: 2- Step Equations using The Distributive Property (7.2.spi.5)
Today, students will use the distributive property to solve equations. Students will take notes from overhead and complete a journal entry at the end of class. Students will complete practice problems from the overhead in groups.
Homework: Begin to study for test on Friday

Thursday: 2- Step Equations using The Distributive Property (7.2.spi.5)
Today, students will continue to use the distributive property to solve equations. Students will work in groups to create and solve problems using this property. Students will create problems, exchange with a group, and check to make sure the problems are done correctly.
Homework: Study for test on Friday

Friday: Test over 2- Step Equations (7.2.spi.5)
Today, students will take a test over two- step equations. After the test, students will be asked to read a book.
