Monday: 2-6 Box-and-Whisker Plot
Today, students will construct and interpret box-and- whisker plots. Students will complete packet pages 93 and 94. Students will work in groups to complete this assignment.
Homework: Begin studying for Vocabulary Quiz on Thursday
Tuesday: 2-7 Bar Graphs and Histograms
Today, students will construct and interpret bar graphs and histograms. Students will work in groups to complete textbook page 87 numbers 1-20 all. Students will define: bar graph and histogram.
Homework: Study for Vocabulary Quiz Thursday
Wednesday: 2-2 Making Predictions
Today, students will make predictions from graphs. Students will work individually to complete packet page 73 and 74. Students will define: Line graph and scatter plot.
Homework: Study for Vocabulary Quiz Thursday
Thursday: Vocabulary Quiz (Graphs) 2-8 Misleading Statistics
Today, students will learn to recognize when statistics and graphs are misleading. Students will complete textbook page 93 numbers 1-14 all.
Homework: Begin studying for test, which will be Tuesday.
Friday: Study Guide and Review
Today, students will work in groups to complete study guide and review on page 96 in textbook.
Homework: Continue studying for test Tuesday.
