Monday: Review Objectives 1, 2, and 5.
Today, students will review skills and objectives from the 1st 9 weeks by completing problems from the state assessment booklet. After the test, students will read a book.
Homework: None
Tuesday: Venn Diagram and Problem Solving/ Probability.
Today, students will use venn diagrams to help organize information in solving word problems. Students will complete exercises from the board. Students will also play the game ” Deal or No Deal” to help them better understand probability. Students will complete word problems on board.
Homework: Study Notes
Wednesday: Red Folders/ journals/ Problem Solving
Today, students will turn in red folders and journals. Students will also continue solving problems using a venn diagram. Students will work in groups to complete page 646 number 1 in the 8th grade text.

Thursday: Problem Solving ( Venn Diagram)/ Charts
Today, students will continue to solve problems using a venn diagram. Students will also use charts to organize data in problem solving. Students will work in groups to complete page 194 numbers 1-7. Students will finish debate on challenging word problem.
Homework: None/ Have a great Fall Break!
Friday: No School!
