Monday: Quiz Proportions/ 8-2 The Percent Proportion (7.1.spi.3)
Today, students will take a quiz over proprotions. After the quiz, students will begin the section on the percent proportion. Students will learn to solve problems using the percent proportion. Students will use the equation p/b= r/100. Students will work individually to complete page 337 numbers 5-48 all ( 8th grade text book).

Tuesday: 8-3 The Percent Equation (7.1.spi.3)
Today, students will solve problems using the percent equation. Students will use the formula: rb=p. Students will complete workbook page 82 in 7th grade text book. Students will work individually to complete practice side. After completion, students will begin enrichement activity on the percent equation. Students will also complete a journal entry on the percent Equaion.

Wednesday: Classwork assignment combining sections 8-1, 8-2, and 8-3.
Today, students will work in class to complete a review sheet for using proportions, the percent proportion, and the percent equaion. After the classwork assignment, students will play a game for points where they will answer various questions regarding sections 8-1, 8-2, and 8-3.

Thursday: Graphs 4-1 Bar Graphs and Histograms (7.5.spi.1)
Today, students will construct and interpret bar graphs and histograms. Students will work in groups to complete activity worksheet for Enrichment. Students will also complete textbook page 144 numbers 1-8 all.

Friday: Bar Graphs and Histograms (Newspaper)/ 7.5.spi.1
Today, students will work in groups to construct bar graphs and histograms based on data that they find in a newspaper article. Students will need to bring a newspaper to class to complete this activity.
