Today, students will learn to solve problems by using proportions. Students will read word problems and use proportions to solve them. Students will also complete textbook page 331-332 numbers 1-20 all.

Today, students will continue to solve problems by using proportions. Students will complete enrichment activity worksheet that goes along with solving proportions. Students will work in groups to complete this assignment.
Homework: Copy problems from page 627 Lesson 8-1 numbers 1-4 all.

Wednesday: 8-2 The Percent Proportion (7.1.spi.3)
Today, students will learn to solve problems using the percent proportions. Students will use the formula p/b= r/100. Students will work in groups to complete workbook page 61 in the 8th grade workbook. At the end of class, students will complete journal entry #2.

Thursday: Terra Nova Standardized Test Practice
Today, students will review skills and objectives that have been covered so far this year. Students will take standardized test practice “Sample Test #1.” After the test, students will be asked to read a book silently.
Homework: None

Friday: Inequalities ( Mrs. Triplett)
Today, students will solve and graph inequalities. Students will work individually to complete inequalities worksheet. Students need to be prepared to take a pop quiz after instruction.
