Monday: Video ( Combining Like Terms) Enrichment Activity
Today, students will watch a video on combining like terms. Students will be asked questions from the video. Students will have to solve various problems during the video.
Homework: Worksheet 1-6 ( Combining Like Terms)
Tuesday: 7th grade Text (5-3) Fractions and Decimals (7.1.spi.3)
Today, students will convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. Students will fill in a fraction decimal percent chart. Students will work independently to complete workbook page 30 Practice side.
Homework: Study today’s notes.
Wednesday: 7th Grade Text ( 5-4) Fractions and Percents (7.1.spi.3)
Today, students will convert factions to percents. Students will work independently to complete in class practice problems from the overhead. Students will fill in a fractions decimal percent chart. Students will also work with percents , fractions, and decimals greater than 100.
Homework: Study notes/ quiz over Fractions, Decimals and Percents
Thursday: Quiz/ Fractions, Decimals, and Percents
Today, students will take a quiz over fractions, decimals and percents. After the test, students will be asked to read a book silently.
Homework: complete worksheet for Mrs. Triplett
Friday: Inequalities(Variables and Expressions) (7.2.spi.9)
Today, students will solve inequalities. Students will learn to combine like terms. Students will work in groups and individaully to complete practice worksheet with Mrs. Triplett.
