Tuesday: 1-9 Scientific Notation/ 3-3 The Coordinate Plane
Today, students will convert numbers from standard form to scientific notation. Students will also plot points on a coordinate grid. Students will review for quiz on Thursday. Students will work in groups to complete workbook pages 16 Study Guide Side and 36 Practice Side. 7.1.spi.3. 7.3.spi.5.
Homework: Study for quiz on Thursday
Wednesday: Think Link
Today, students will take the September Think Link Test in the computer lab.
Homework: Study for quiz over scientific notation and the coordinate plane.
Thursday: Quiz Scientific Notation/ Coordinate Plane
Today, students will take a quiz over scientific notation and the coordinate system. After the test, students will be asked to read a book.
Homework: None
Friday: 1-4 Addition and Subtraction Equations /1-7 Sequences
Today, students will determine if sequences are arithmetic or geometric. Students will work in groups to complete workbook page 26. Students will continue to solve additon and subtraction equations. Students will work in groups to complete in class practice problems. 7.2.spi.5 and 7.2.spi.1.
