Today, students will work puzzles- sudoku, cross word, word finds etc…

Tuesday: Field Day
Today, students will have a day filled with outdoor games and activities.  Before Field Day begins, students will clean out lockers and prepare for the end of the year.

Today, students will watch a movie as a gift from the teachers for having a great year.

Today, students will be allowed to bring their favorite board game to class.

Today, students will review the skill on dividing fractions.  Students will use KFC to divide.  All answers must be in lowest terms and must be simplified.

Monday: Combining Like Terms
Today, students will learn to combine like terms. Student will complete Bell work on the overhead. The teacher will go over the answers with the students. The students will work in groups to complete practice problems in class.

Tuesday: Pop Quiz Combining Like Terms
Today, students will take a pop quiz over combining like terms. After the quiz, students will begin notes on multiplying polynomials by binomials. Students will begin practice problems in class.
Homework: Study notes/ Bring the blue “return to GMS” form to school tomorrow.

Wednesday: Multiplying Polynomials by Binomials
Today, students will continue to multiply polynomials by binomials. Students will complete practice worksheet in class.

Today, students will work in groups to create problems and solve them. Students will take the problems that they have created in their group and share the problems with students in another group. Students will be asked to solve each other’s problems.

Today, students will review how to graph points on a coordinate plane.  Students will then complete function charts and graph linear equations.  Students will go over vocabulary words: function rule, domain, range, input, and output.

Thursday:  12-1 Drawing Three- Dimensional Figures
Today, students will learn to draw three- dimensional figures given the top, side, and front views.  Students will work in groups to construct various figures. Students will cut out shapes from worksheet and tape the pieces together to form three- dimensional objects.  Students will complete textbook page 515 numbers 5-12 all.

Friday:  12-1 Drawing Three- Dimensional Figures
Today, students will continue to draw three- dimensional figures.  Student will work in groups to complete Practice Skills 12-1 and practice word problems sheet.

Today, students will review for chapter 9.  Students will complete textbook page 402 numbers 1-42 all. After completion, students will be given the correct answers.
Homework:  Study for chapter 9 test.

Wednesday: TCAP Coach/ Estimation Packet (Teacher-made Think Link Test)
Today, students will review skills on estimation.  Students are heavily focusing on estimation due to the last think link test.  This is an area of need for the students and will be stressed at least twice a week until the TCAP test is administered.
Homework:  Study for chapter 9 test

Thursday: Think Link
Today, students will take the February Think Link Test in the computer Lab.
Homework: None

Friday:  TCAP Coach/ Chapter 9 Test
Today, students will take a test over chapter 9.  After the test, students will continue to practice skills from TCAP Coach Book.
